A Photos Worth

I sit here in the middle of many projects, clients images and even a few videos – Working both in my business and on my business – goal setting and dreaming dreams for the coming year and beyond.

I come across this photo from Sean & Rebekah’s wedding last week at Rippaville here in Nashville and it stops me dead in my tracks. What a touching display of how these two families are coming together as these two are becoming one. Honoring this in quite prayer before God and requesting His blessings on their marriage as Sean & Rebekah are asking for wisdom as they walk out the unknown together.

The meaning of this photograph truly is so very special. I’m in awe of how meaningful what I get to do is and I never want to take that for granted. Every time I’m trusted to be the keeper of memories for a day as monumental as the beginning of a marriage, I am so humbled and honored.

“Weddings are a microcosm of everything good in this world. Not in a Hallmark sort of bull—- way. But for real. A wedding is people, community, and love. It’s a beautiful mess of everything we thought we needed mixed with everything we didn’t know we had with a dash of everyone who cares thrown in for effect. It is a potent thing we play with.” -Spencer Lum

Weddings are the gates being flung open on the walls of the heart. Your groom cries his way through your vows as you two become one – You share a dance with your daddy as tears are streaming down his face – Laughing ’til your belly hurts as your best friends share their toasts – Not wanting to say goodnight, so y’all dance a little longer – It’s the end of some things and a brave waltz into the unknown with your better half – A deep expectation of the great things to come. It’s a great day 🙂
